Made Here opens juni 11, 2018 12:40
January 15th we took over the premises at Wildersgade. Since then we have torn walls down, put doors in, painted walls ... put up cabinets and shelves and painted a little more. We have now furnished 2 lovely workshops and a store. So please come by and celebrate the opening of our new place, Made Here, Thursday, June 14th, where we will have an opening reception from 4 - 8 pm.
As an extra celebration of our new store, we have made an opening offer. There will be 15% off all the ceramics in the rest of June. So please drop by!

A new year and new opportunites. Designer Zoo, where I have had my studio since 2010 will sadly close the 1st of March. So I will move to Christianshavn in Wildersgade 23A, where I am setting up a new studio and a small design store together with my good colleague Louise Heisel. Our new place will be called MADE HERE! and we will open in the spring when we are done renovating.... Stay tuned!

Wednesday, December 20 at 2 pm is the last chance to purchase on my webshop if the shipment should arrive before Christmas Eve. I recommend the service of Dao365 for last minute Xmas shopping. Many of there parcel shops are open for pick ups on December 24.
There is also the option of picking up your order at my workshop right up to December 23 at 7 pm. As long as your order is given by 4 pm the same day.
For customers in Europe the last day for Christmas shopping is Monday, December 18 at 2 pm.
Free shipping on orders of more than 500 DKK in Denmark and on orders of more than 1000 DKK in Europe. Shipping fee on small orders is 35 DKK for Denmark and 90 DKK for Europe.

The second market I attend is the Ceramic market at Absalon on Vesterbro in Copenhagen on the 9th of December from 10 am to 4 pm. Green Moss Tableware november 10, 2017 13:15
My new tableware Green Moss is finally available for purchase here on my webshop. Please have a look!
The inspirations are derived from nature and the way moss can grow on the shadow side of a large rock without having the least amount of soil to mount its roots in. I am quite fascinated by the encounter between the soft organic in the moss and the hard mineral matter in the stone and the beautiful contrasts that arise. I have tried to recreate these contrasts in the tableware with the coarse light brown stoneware and the soft arches in the green delicate glaze.
The design language is simple and clean, and lends itself to many functions, while the decoration is more free and unique to each piece. The glaze is tactile with a deep green colour and it gives a darker tone brown to teh clay where clay and glaze meets. Which gave an extra finesse to the decoration.
In the picture you can see Green Moss mixed with another tableware I have made called Blue Hills, the mix can create a nice contrast and give a more dynamic table setting.

My new angels ornaments can now be purchased on my webshop. They are hand drawn in liquid porcelain and therefore they all have their individual expressions. Available in five different colours: White, white with brown specks, black, grey melange and grey, as shown in the picture below. You can get a box with five a like or you can mix your own five pieces.

Preparations for Christmas september 18, 2017 14:43
Preparations for Christmas are at full speed now at my studio. I have designed an angle for my series of Christmas ornaments that I'm producing at the moment. They will soon be available at the webshop in many colours. At the pictures you see freshly made angles drying on big plaster plates, the other picture shows a view down the kiln where angles are stacked and ready for the firing.

The Stacked Flowerpot september 8, 2017 11:50
A sculptural flowerpot that brings out the best in your plants. They are suitable for many kinds of plants. In the picture below you can see a few examples and get inspiration.
The design of this flowerpot is made up of 4 rings that are stacked and staggered horizontally. The lower ring is loose and also acts as the pot's saucer. In that way, you do not notice the saucer when the flowerpot is assembled and it appears light and elegant.
The flowerpots are available in two sizes and five colours. Three of the colours are in shiny glaze, while the last two colours are in raw clay. All flowerpots are made of high-fired stoneware or porcelain. They are waterproof, but they are not suitable for outdoor use in frost weather.

There was a nice mention in yesterdays Politiken of You Little Teapot and our vase "Øv jeg er ikke en Lyngby-vase" (Damn I'm not a Lyngby-vase). The demand for the vase has therefore been enormous, so it is now sold out. However, you can still place an order here at the webshop and we will have a new batch of the vase ready in two weeks time. A thousand thanks to all of you who have been visiting the webshop and social media.

On Wednesday I'll participate in the Ceramic fair at Skælskør harbour. More than 60 artisans exhibit and sell their ceramic work, so there will definitely be something for everyone. I'll bring a large selection of my designs and maybe there will be some good offers.... Drop by and explore the wonderful world of ceramics!

I participate in the cosy Paris Market, Saturday the 17th of June, which takes place on Rosensgade in the beautiful Latin Quarter in the center of Aarhus. The market is part of The Latin Festival, so the day will also offer other events as a common breakfast, concerts and much more. At the Paris Market you will find a wide range of Danish handicrafts in the fields of ceramics, glass, textiles, jewelry and leather. It is open from 11 o'clock to 5 o'clock.
Saturday The 17th of June on Rosensgade in Århus from 11:00 til 17:00.
Finders Keepers Design Market maj 2, 2017 16:16
I will participate at Finders Keepers design market at Lokomotivværkstedet the 6th and 7th of May. Lokomotivværkstedet is located very close to Fisketorvet Shopping Mall in Copenhagen, you can get directions here.
I'll show a large selection of my collections, amongst my new Stacked flowerpots, stacked cups and my tableware Green Moss.
There are open both days from 11 to 17.
